Yarn Along

Joining with Ginny at Small Things for today's Yarn Along!

I finished the Lapwing I started last week, but haven't quite blocked it to my satisfaction so no photos yet.  Since then I've piddled with a couple projects (mostly Saco Stripes and Shoals Tank), but haven't had much time for knitting/reading due to a last minute NCLEX (really expensive nursing state board exam) review. In the meantime, this lovely Julie Asselin Leizu DK arrived for my Campside test, and it's clearly necessary to drop all other projects for this one!

In the way of reading - I'm still reading an article here and there from Deeply Rooted Mag when I have spare time, but most of my reading time has been spent on nursing material.

  1. Followed the link from Yarn Along over here because I loved the colour of the yarn. :) Such a lovely, soothing colour - it really is just right for the pattern.

    1. I think so, too! I usually make an effort not to copy the color chosen by the designer but this one really is just right for the pattern.

    1. Thanks for commenting! I agree - and the yarn is as soft and squishy as the color is beautiful :)
